Every service should connect to a business objective such as qualified leads, appointments, sales, retention, reviews, or referrals.
Shadow Marketing Media exists to help good businesses stop losing opportunities because marketing, sales, customer communication, and reporting are disconnected.

Founder, CEO, and the dog behind the name

Joshua built his life around faith, resilience, leadership, service, discipline, and personal responsibility. He became a wheelchair user after being shot at age 13. That experience did not become a reason to step back. It shaped how he approaches pressure, work, leadership, and the responsibility to keep moving when the path is hard.
His career has crossed entrepreneurship, motivational speaking, media, outdoor television, professional athletics, brand development, nonprofit work, and business strategy. Across those environments, one lesson kept showing up: effort matters, but effort without a working system gets wasted.
That perspective shapes Shadow Marketing Media. The company does not treat marketing as a collection of posts, ads, websites, or software subscriptions. It studies the path from attention to revenue, finds the weak points, and builds a process the client can understand, operate, and improve.
Shadow, Joshua’s black Labrador, represents loyalty, consistency, and the kind of partnership the company is named to provide. The standard is to stay close to the client’s mission, tell the truth about the problem, and build work that holds up outside a sales presentation.
Strength without the show. Systems without the confusion. Growth without losing the human side.
Every service should connect to a business objective such as qualified leads, appointments, sales, retention, reviews, or referrals.
Technology should support the customer experience and your team. It cannot replace judgment, accountability, trust, or a real conversation.
We look at the whole revenue path instead of selling isolated marketing tasks that never work together.
We focus reporting on the points that reveal whether interest is becoming conversations, appointments, estimates, customers, and repeat business.
You should understand what is being built, why it matters, who owns each next step, and what numbers will show whether it is working.
We start with the customer journey and the revenue problem.
We protect your brand voice and the trust you have earned.
We explain the process in plain language.
We automate repetitive work without making customers feel ignored.
We look for retention, reviews, referrals, and reactivation after the initial sale.
Clear questions deserve clear answers. If your situation is different, the revenue audit gives us the right place to start.
The name honors Shadow, Joshua Carney’s black Labrador. Shadow represents loyalty, consistency, alertness, and the kind of close partnership the agency aims to give its clients.
A traditional agency may stop at traffic, posts, ads, or website delivery. Shadow looks at what happens after interest is created: who responds, how fast, what happens next, how the opportunity is tracked, and whether the customer stays connected after the sale.
Shadow is founder-led. Joshua Carney brings experience as an entrepreneur, speaker, content creator, athlete, outdoorsman, and business operator. Client strategy is grounded in responsibility, clear communication, and systems that can hold up under real pressure.
We will help you identify whether the next move is better demand, faster response, stronger follow-up, clearer sales ownership, better retention, or a combination of those systems.
